HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN DIY CRAFT CADDY SHABBY CHIC TWINE VALENTINE

It’s been a while since I have shared a project with you and this week, I have 3 quick and easy Valentine’s Day projects to share.  Each one of these projects is a completely different style.  Each one is incredibly easy, inexpensive and takes no more than 15 minutes to put together.  Today we are sharing a Shabby Chic Twine Valentine project.

We lost our images sorry. If you make this, please email us your pictures.

I started by taking my scrap paper and folded it in 1/2 and cut out a heart shape.

Laying the heart on the canvas, I lightly traced it onto the canvas using a pencil.

I filled the heart shape with Elmer’s glue.

To get the ‘shabby’ look, I took a paint brush a lightly painted the heart with chalk paint and before it dried, I rubbed some of it off with a paper towel.

I framed this with a resin frame I picked up at Hobby Lobby a few months ago. Love these frames!

This non-traditional shabby chic twine heart looks beautiful sitting on my mantel and received a thumbs up from Mr. Hobby.

Thank you for the visit!
